About Our Home / Our Hub
Located in Heald Green, South Manchester, our brand-new residential service is a high-specification, welcoming home designed to provide stability, comfort, and space for young people with complex emotional and social needs. Featuring en-suite staff bedrooms and dedicated management offices, it offers a secure, homely base for our children while giving you and your team the comfortable, professional spaces you need to lead effectively.
The Role: What you'll be doing
You'll hold full operational leadership of this new home, establishing high-quality care practice, regulatory compliance, and a nurturing therapeutic ethos.
Your day-to-day as a Registered Manager will involve:

  • Therapeutic Leadership: Championing a person-centred, relational approach, working with psychotherapists to formulate live Behaviour Support Plans and Risk Assessments.
  • Team Development & Culture: Recruiting, inducting, supervising, and delivering reflective practice sessions to maintain high expectations across your care team.
  • Regulatory Excellence: Leading on Regulation 45 quality reviews, managing Ofsted inspection readiness, and overseeing the service budget and resources.

Your Experience and QualificationsEssential:

  • The Background: Proven, established track record as a Registered Manager in a children's residential care setting (minimum 2 years' relevant experience within the last 5 years).
  • The Qualifications & Compliance: Already hold the NVQ / Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), and be prepared to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
  • The Logistics: Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.


Desirable:

  • A proven track record of securing 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted inspection outcomes in previous residential leadership roles.
