The Role:

What you'll be doing

You'll hold full operational leadership of this new home, establishing high-quality care practice, regulatory compliance, and a nurturing therapeutic ethos. Your day-to-day as a Registered Manager will involve: Therapeutic Leadership: Championing a person-centred, relational approach, working with psychotherapists to formulate live Behaviour Support Plans and Risk Assessments. Recruiting, inducting, supervising, and delivering reflective practice sessions to maintain high expectations across your care team.

Regulatory Excellence: Leading on Regulation 45 quality reviews, managing Ofsted inspection readiness, and overseeing the service budget and resources.

Your Experience and Qualifications Essential: The Background: Proven, established track record as a Registered Manager in a children's residential care setting (minimum 2 years' relevant experience within the last 5 years). The Qualifications & Compliance: Already hold the NVQ / Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), and be prepared to complete an Enhanced DBS check. The Logistics: Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.

Desirable:

A proven track record of securing 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted inspection outcomes in previous residential leadership roles. Your Package and Perks Competitive Salary & Leadership Bonuses: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Annual Leadership Recognition Award (focused on care quality, safeguarding, and team stabilitynever occupancy alone). Ofsted & Quality Recognition: £250 holiday/wellbeing voucher on initial Ofsted registration, plus £1,000 for a 'Good' rating and £2,000 for an 'Outstanding' inspection outcome.

Protected Management Time: 1 designated admin/management day each week (where operationally possible) dedicated strictly to QA, supervision, audits, and leadershipfree from shift cover.

Work-Life Balance & Extra Leave : Structured Monday to Friday hours (9:00am 5:00pm) with shared on-call, plus a paid Birthday off, a paid Christmas shopping day in December, and rising annual leave with service (+1 day per completed year, up to 5 extra days). Loyalty & Retention Milestones: Long-service bonuses at 12 months (£500 voucher), 2 years (£1,000 bonus), and 3 years (£1,500 bonus + an extra full paid week of leave). Development & Wellbeing Allowances: Up to £1,000 annual CPD budget for specialist training and conferences, £300 annual personal wellbeing allowance, and a £500 employee referral scheme.
