Grade/Pay: £18.02 per hour (inclusive of holiday allowance) on Worker Terms of Engagement

Location: Sandwell Aquatic Centre, but can work throughout Kore Sandwell sites if required

Hours: As and when required to include early mornings, evenings and weekends

Description: Kore Sandwell is a multi award-winning company seeking to recruit Relief Swimming Instruction Workers to provide swimming instruction on our school and public instruction programme, deliver lesson plans, and complete appropriate supporting administrative tasks. Individuals should have a flexible approach to work and may be asked to cover lessons at short notice.

Applicants must hold:

  • Teaching Award – either/or
  • Rescue Award – either/or
  • RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches or National Pool Lifeguard Award
  • STA National Aquatic Rescue Skills for Poolside Helpers or National Aquatic Rescue Award for Lifeguards, or equivalent.

ABOUT US: Kore Sandwell is one of the largest Leisure Trusts in the UK. We maintain nine leisure centres on behalf of Sandwell Council and are proud to be IIP Silver accredited and holders of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal Award in the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards. We aim to get more local people active and carefully balance our social ethos and commercial aspirations to maintain, invest and develop a wide range of quality sport and leisure services for Sandwell.
