The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Operations Manager to join our team in Spalding. This is a key leadership role within the business, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activity and ensuring the high standards of service that SLS UK prides itself on. The successful candidate will play a central role in deploying and managing staff, coordinating operations and events, and supporting the continued growth of the company. As a fast-growing organisation with exciting projects ahead, we are strengthening our management structure to support both client service excellence and opportunities for our team. Travel across the UK will be required as part of this role, including time spent at our York office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily operational security activities across client sites
  • Managing staff deployment, scheduling, and operational planning
  • Coordinating event security and special operations
  • Maintaining high service standards and operational compliance
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with SIA licensing requirements and security regulations
  • Supporting risk management and operational safety procedures
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and development to operational teams
  • Working closely with the senior management team to support company objectives

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong understanding of the security industry and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in operational planning, resource allocation, and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Experience using management software and operational systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A client-focused approach with high attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar operational role within the security sector
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Experience managing large operational teams or multi-site deployments

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
