Skills
- Significant experience with mammalian genomics and genome‑scale data analysis; prior experience in human genomics preferred
- Proficient with bioinformatics tools and pipelines, especially NGS data processing for variant calling, expression profiling (bulk/single‑cell RNA‑seq), and/or other functional genomics applications
- Proven programming skills. Preference: R, Python
Desirable
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and databases (SQL) for genomics data processing and storage; Linux & HPC experience a plus
- Knowledge or working experience with non‑coding RNA analysis and/or gene modulation technologies (e.g. CRISPR)
- Experience establishing computational infrastructures in an industry/company setting
- Experience troubleshooting application issues
- Training and experience in the application of machine learning and use of statistical models is a plus
Qualifications / Profile
- BSc/MSc/PhD with experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, and/or a related field; PhD would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills with the proven ability to relay information effectively and efficiently, both to computational and experimental scientists
- Team‑orientation toward collaboration and mutual success
- Ability to ensure reproducible and transferable work through use of appropriate procedures and documentation
