We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Assistant to join our centralised Procurement Team, on a temporary basis until May 2027.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager and collaborating closely with the wider business, the Procurement Assistant will play a pivotal role supporting our fast-moving, dynamic Procurement Team in the progressing of orders.
- Contacting Suppliers to expedite delivery of goods and update Purchase Orders on our ERP System.
- Arrange collections from suppliers using our Internal fleet of vehicles.
- Encourage continual improvement of all activities within the Procurement Department, allowing for the development of relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
- Adopt a pragmatic approach to Continuous Improvement by learning from our past experiences with a view to making things better for future projects.
- Take up any other related projects and lead as requested by the Procurement Manager.
Qualifications:
- Maths and English to GCSE or equivalent.
- Highly competent/computer literate with a number of Microsoft Office applications and relevant software packages.
- A basic understanding of Procurement/Purchasing.
