The Curriculum Product Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of curriculum across professional training pathways. The role requires a detail‑oriented, quality‑driven individual who can create high-impact learning materials and support the expansion of new training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support organisational mission, values, and strategic objectives
- Apply Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion principles
- Follow Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement
- Design and develop curriculum for Bootcamps, apprenticeships, and new commercial opportunities
- Redevelop or tailor content for employers when commercially viable
- Use models such as ADDIE to analyse needs, structure programmes, and design effective materials
- Produce high-quality learning resources (workbooks, lesson plans, slide decks, assessments, schemes of work, practical activities)
- Map outcomes to assessments and ensure cohesive, learner-centred programme design
- Support implementation by training delivery staff and liaising with sales teams
- Conduct ongoing quality reviews, updates, and improvements
- Use relevant platforms (e.g., LMS systems, SCORM tools, virtual labs, interactive learning tools) to ensure smooth delivery
- Collaborate with trainers, quality teams, compliance, systems, sales, marketing, and leadership
- Support employer engagement by demonstrating programme value and adaptability
Professional Development
- Keep updated on sector changes including FE and regulatory requirements
- Engage in professional learning communities and curriculum development networks
Candidate Profile
- Have strong experience in curriculum design and managing full development lifecycles
- Understand apprenticeship provision and have experience in training, coaching, assessing, or inspections
- Hold a teaching qualification; degree/professional qualifications are beneficial
- Have strong English and maths skills
- Communicate confidently and build positive relationships across teams and with employers
- Be proactive, organised, analytical, and creative under pressure
- Prioritise inclusive, accessible curriculum that embeds EDI and safeguarding
- Be motivated to drive innovation and create impactful learning experiences
