We are seeking a Senior Finance Lead to serve as a key financial steward and strategic partner to firm leadership. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that goes beyond traditional accounting; you will own financial reporting, forecasting, controls infrastructure, and will have the opportunity to build and develop new processes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Own the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with firm leadership
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice preparation, tracking, and collections
- Maintain and submit VAT filings across all jurisdictions
- Partner with project managers to ensure accurate revenue recognition and timely collections
- Manage relationships with banks, insurance providers, and other financial service vendors
- Drive the build-out of the finance function, including hiring, systems, and reporting infrastructure
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a finance role, with ownership of full-cycle accounting and financial operations
- Experience working with multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional structures, including VAT filings
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar)
