This is an analyst-level role that will own a workstream to support the advisory team deliver Planetrics analytics, project deliverables and proposals within client defined timelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with advisory team members to solve complex client problems using qualitative and quantitative analysis and implement practical solutions.
- Conduct market, industry, economic, climate and regulatory research.
- Develop custom financial/economic models and analytics to deliver tailored insights to meet client needs.
- Synthesize Planetrics insights and project findings into clear, compelling presentations for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with advisory team members and clients to make strategic recommendations and provide implementation support.
Skills required:
- 0-3 years experience in finance, banking, economics or consultancy.
- 2:1 or equivalent degree or a Master's in economics, finance, or another relevant field.
- An interest in working in a fast-paced environment and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Clear, structured thinking.
- Comfortable working with data, building intuition from results, and being precise with assumptions and methodology.
- Ability to complete work to ambitious deadlines and at high quality over extended client engagements.
- Intellectually curious, ask good questions, and keen to understand the 'why' (not just execute tasks).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and at ease when presenting to senior clients.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
