The role of Mobile Electrician, no two days will be the same. You’ll work across social housing, schools, offices, and commercial properties, ensuring buildings are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Supporting contracts in Woking, Fareham and Portsmouth, with occasional working on the Isle of Wight and parts of West Sussex too.

Enthusiastic and conscientious Mobile Electrician with a can-do attitude and flexible approach. Must have relevant qualifications, broad maintenance experience, and the ability to complete tasks beyond core competency. A professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and passing an Enhanced DBS check are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical testing, inspections, reactive repairs, fault finding, PPMs, full rewiring, and installations (domestic & commercial).
- Ensure work complies with IEE Wiring Regulations and British Standards.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support other trades, respond to emergencies, and communicate updates to customers.
- Follow Health & Safety protocols, maintain equipment, and keep accurate records.
- Participate in an on-call rota and assist across contracts as needed.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in domestic and commercial electrical work.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of building materials, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing), 18th Edition, Full UK driving license.
- Advantageous: CSCS card, AM2 qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in building maintenance.
