SLR Recruitment are pleased to be supplying Skilled Labourers & Jet Washers on the Tyne in Newcastle! This is a busy shipyard and you will be crucial in the maintenance and completion of various vessels undergoing work on site!
Role Overview: We are looking for experienced Skilled Labourers and Industrial Jet Washers to join the team on an ongoing basis!
- Carrying out general labouring duties as required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area in line with site procedures
- Industrial jet washing where required
Job Details:
- Rate: £18.50 per hour (CIS)
- Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm - On site at 6.45am to clock in
- Paid Hours: 11.5 hours per shift
- Weekend Work: Available
- Positions Available: 10
- Duration: Ongoing, no end date
Role Requirements:
- Must have valid IPAF ticket
- Labouring experience ideally in a Marine or Industrial environment
- Preferably industrial Jet Washing experience
- Mandatory PPE: boots, helmet, and head torch
Additional Info:
- Morning briefing takes place daily at 7:00 AM
- Punctuality and timekeeping are essential
