SLR Recruitment are excited to be back working with a long standing established Engineering Workshop based in Fareham, Hampshire looking for Fabricators/Platers on a temporary to permanent basis!
This client works across multiple industries including Marine, Rail, Industrial and Engineering and have an excellent reputation in the area for great workplace culture and opportunity to progress!
The roles: They are looking to take on Fabricator/Platers ideally with some Welding knowledge/background to start ASAP in their Workshop in the new year with plenty of hours and scope for progression and development. There is also an opportunity to be taken on permanently at the end of projects for the right candidates with fantastic benefits.
Subject to Fabrication trade test & interview prior to being offered a position.
LOCAL ROLE ONLY- NO DIGS ALLOWANCE!
Contracting/Temporary Rates:
- Standard: £23 per hour (39 hours worked Mon-Fri)
- Overtime: £25 per hour
Duration & Hours:
- Duration: Start ASAP running through to end of the year!! (permanent opportunities available)
- Hours: Standard Hours: Monday- Friday 7.30am- 4pm
- Overtime: Plenty available. Option to start at 6am on any given day and work weekends
Permanent Opportunity: For the right candidates, the client is keen to offer temporary to permanent opportunities (after first 3 months temporary). This includes the option to incur company benefits such as pension, higher overtime rates, parking & wage increases and annual bonuses!
Permanent Benefits & Rates:
- £17.50 per hour standard - This increases £1 per hour up to £20.50 maximum with different levels of testing.
- Overtime paid at time & a half and double time
- Annual bonus scheme based on workmanship, skill set, attendance, aptitude etc (up to a maximum of £4000 per year!)
