We are seeking a specialist in freshwater, estuarine, and marine ecology with experience in Ecological Impact Assessments, Habitat Regulations, and Water Framework Directive Assessments, particularly in sectors like wind energy. The role involves developing client relationships, designing and conducting aquatic surveys, and preparing reports. It requires working across the UK and occasional out-of-hours work.

- Field survey skills for fish, macroinvertebrates, and macrophytes
- Knowledge of aquatic and marine legislation and permitting
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with protected species
- Proven project delivery and team leadership capabilities
- Experience in sectors like energy, renewables, fisheries, and infrastructure
- Postgraduate degree and membership of CIEEM or equivalent
- Valid UK driver’s license
