Casual / temporary staff will be site based.Ideally, we are looking for **Archaeologists** with at least 3 months of site experience in commercial archaeology. You will work as part of our wider team, and you could be based on a variety of sites including large scale evaluations and excavations.Our **Senior Archaeologists** and **Principal Archaeologists** are required to supervise small to large teams and lead projects of varying complexity, depending upon experience.Successful candidates will have practical experience or working on archaeological sites, a degree in Archaeology and drivers license. Highly advantageous would be CIfA membership at PCIfA or ACIfA levelDue to the nature of the work a full driving licence and access to a car is required.For all staff we offer an excellent subsistence package in addition to travel allowance and single occupancy accommodation, plus 1.5x pay/TOIL for work carried out during unsocial hours (10pm – 6am).Our areas of expertise include the Historic Environment (below and above ground archaeological remains, built heritage, historic landscapes), and cultural heritage (intangible heritage such as sacred space, customs, ethnicity, language and place name studies, literary and artistic associations).Our team have been providing expert archaeological and heritage services for over 25 years, during which time we have demonstrated our ability to provide commercially aware advice and effective delivery to a wide range of clients throughout the UK. Our post-ex hubs in Carlisle and Bury St Edmunds are home to our purpose-built facilities, which provide finds analysis, palaeoenvironmental processing and analysis, post-excavation analysis, publication, and outreach.
