We have a fantastic opportunity for a Proposal Manager to join our growing European Bid Team. About The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Proposal Manager to lead significant bids as part of an established team. This is a newly created role at an exciting period in our global growth.
Role
- Lead multi‑disciplinary and large single‑service opportunities from capture to submission, following the end to end SLR Approach
- Undertake research on clients, projects and competitors
- Develop and implement bid / win strategies
- Influence and communicate at all levels, including senior members of the business
- Develop and manage a bid programme and monitor / report on progress
- Ensure all reviews and governance are adhered to
- Manage all meetings and approvals
- Work with technical staff to convert knowledge to high‑scoring content, using existing libraries where relevant / beneficial
- Provide authorship of some aspects of the bid, where required
- Oversee inputs of bid coordinators / administrators
- Actively contribute to the bid library, lessons learnt and continuous improvement within the team and the wider business
- Support with presentation stage materials for interview
- Provide peer review and support to the wider bid team
- Work with the wider business such as graphic design to produce winning and best‑in‑class proposals

About You
We are looking for an experienced bid professional, either in an existing bid/proposal management role or a proven coordinator looking for their next step up. You will have proven experience, ideally gained in a consulting or people‑based business and able to evidence relevant examples. A natural troubleshooter, you will thrive in the fast‑paced world of bids and fit well in a friendly and supportive team environment. APMP certification along with Adobe InDesign knowledge would also be an advantage.
