The role
- Your key duties will involve the preparation of detailed design, feasibility studies and scheme reports on a variety of projects.
- Take responsibility for project management, budgeting, producing bill of quantities, and costings.
- Provide assurance that scheme designs comply with specification and agreed programme.
- Work to ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements.
- Ensure designs are assessed for environmental impacts.
About you
We are looking for an Engineer with consulting experience around the design and management of the Section 278/38 process, as well as:
- Sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for Streets.
- Ability to engage and conduct effective negotiations with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties.
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Competent in use of CAD, Vehicle Tracking and knowledge of Civil 3D.
