SLR is looking for an experienced Arboriculturalist based in the North East of England. The role is within a multidisciplinary consultancy, working on diverse projects across the built environment, leisure, mining, waste, and energy sectors. The position offers hybrid or remote working with occasional travel to sites and the SLR office.
Responsibilities
- Undertake BS5837: 2012 tree surveys.
- Produce baseline reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA), Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS), tree constraints plans, and tree protection plans.
- Lead consultation with local authority tree officers and other stakeholders to support project teams on arboricultural matters.
- Collaborate with the wider project team during design development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Level 3 Arboriculture qualification (Surveying) and strong report‑writing skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
- Experience carrying out site work independently.
- Knowledge of BS5837: 2012.
