Role Summary

Help shape the future of Adult Social Care in Slough. As a Strategic Commissioner you will lead strategic commissioning activity across Prevention and Carers, developing high‐quality, sustainable and person‐centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and better outcomes for residents and unpaid carers across Slough.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key prevention initiatives and strengthen Slough's carers offer.
  • Shape the local care and support market, ensuring services deliver best value while meeting the needs of a diverse community.
  • Develop and deliver commissioning strategies to improve services and outcomes for residents.
  • Lead transformation initiatives, including service design, redesign and decommissioning.
  • Work with partners, people with lived experience, and the co‐production network to implement practical commissioning plans.

Working Conditions
