What you'll be doing
- Lead senior strategic commissioning across adult social care commissioning, partnerships, co‐production, integration and transformation.
- Shape evidence‐led commissioning strategies, manage a significant programme of work and ensure services are designed around the needs, experiences and aspirations of local people.
- Lead major commissioning and improvement activity across the Council and with health, voluntary, independent sector and community partners.
- Oversee the commissioning forward plan, support effective use of care and non‐care budgets, drive savings and value for money, and lead key transformation programmes including the Better Care Fund and the move towards neighbourhood health and integrated services.
- Make a direct difference to residents across Slough by helping people access joined‐up, preventative and person‐centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Qualifications and experience
Relevant experience in adult social care commissioning and leadership, strong strategic planning, budgeting and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Competitive salary of £81,765 to £90,720.
- Annual increments payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post and satisfactory performance.
- 26 days annual leave (not including Bank holidays), rising to 30 days between 2 - 5 years' service and 33 days after 5 years' service.
