What You’ll Be Doing

Are you a skilled data professional who can turn complex information into clear insight that drives decision-making and improves outcomes? We are looking for an experienced Senior Data & Performance Analyst to provide strategic leadership for data analysis, performance management and business intelligence across Early Years, Best Start in Life, Family Hubs and the Family Information Service.

This is a pivotal role where you will lead the development and assurance of performance frameworks, analyse complex datasets from multiple sources, and provide authoritative insight to senior leaders, partners and elected members. Your work will directly influence commissioning, sufficiency planning, service improvement and strategic investment decisions that support children and families across Slough.

You will lead on the production and quality assurance of key analytical products, including the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment, develop forecasting and demand models, and create impactful dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL and advanced Excel. You'll move beyond reporting data to explaining trends, identifying risks and inequalities, and helping shape future priorities.
