What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior HR Business Partner (Senior BP) is a key strategic advisor to the council, providing expert leadership across the full spectrum of people strategy, workforce transformation and organisational development. This role leads and oversees the HR Business Partnering function, ensuring consistent, high quality strategic support across Directorates. Working alongside senior leaders, including Directors and CLT members, the Senior BP shapes and drives the delivery of workforce strategies, council-wide people initiatives, and transformational change programs. They will act as a critical link between strategic workforce planning, organisational design, leadership development, people analytics and operational HR delivery. Senior BP provides professional leadership to the team of HR Business Partners, ensuring alignment, capability development, coaching, and consistent application of best practices.
