The predicted salary is between 26679 - 27499 £ per year.

Pay Level: 3 – £26,679 to £27,499 (fully inclusive of Local Weighting Allowance).

Contract Type: Permanent.

Working Hours: 30 hours per fortnight.

Location: Across all Slough Libraries – Britwell, The Curve, Cippenham and Langley.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent front‑line customer service and support day‑to‑day library operations.
  • Engage with residents, promote library services and deliver events such as story and rhyme times, Lego clubs and adult activities.
  • Maintain a welcoming environment and respond to customer queries promptly.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Passion for books and reading.
  • Ability to adapt in a busy, customer‑focused environment.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance required.
