Location: Observatory House/ Slough Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)

Responsibilities

The Emergency Planning and Resilience Manager will lead, manage, motivate and develop the Emergency Planning and Response teams within Slough. The postholder will coordinate multi‑agency and where necessary cross‑Berkshire working; and maintain a comprehensive, regularly audited, and updated suite of emergency plans, procedures and the equipment to implement them – covering the full breadth of risk from individuals and communities to borough‑wide incidents – in order to fulfil the Council’s duties under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
