What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Developer and Designer (Platform) to play a key role in the continued development and enhancement of our online services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the council’s digital transformation agenda by designing, developing, and maintaining user‑focused digital platforms, particularly our Jadu Content Management System (CMS) and its associated integrations. In this role, you will ensure our website and digital platforms remain accessible, reliable, and easy to use, supporting the delivery of high‑quality services for residents, businesses and partners.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the digital and IT teams, as well as service areas across the council, to deliver improvements, streamline workflows and implement innovative technical solutions such as APIs, Single Sign‑On (SSO) and third‑party system integrations. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping shape a seamless and inclusive digital experience for our communities, supporting the council’s commitment to efficiency, accessibility and continuous improvement.
