What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking to hire 2 Customer Service Advisors (Maternity Cover) who will represent the Council and is often the first-person customers speak to. You will deal with enquiries by phone, in person, and online.

We are looking for friendly, motivated people who enjoy helping others and who are committed to providing a high level of customer service. You must be able to explain information clearly, stay calm under pressure, and speak confidently with a wide range of customers.

The role requires you to be well organised, flexible, and able to work well with colleagues. You will also be expected to meet agreed service targets and performance standards.

Please note that this is a 7 months fixed term contract which will end on the 31/3/2027.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1 April, subject to six months’ service and satisfactory performance, until the maximum spinal column point is reached.
