Role Details
Pay Level: 8 Β£48,277 to Β£53,509 fully inclusive of Local Weighting Allowance
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 Hours Monday to Friday and on call
Location: Slough, Berkshire/Community care surround area\βs (people\βs homes in the community and visiting hospitals or care home settings if required as part of the Reablement interventions)

What You\βll DoWe\βre looking for an inspiring and driven Registered Manager to lead our Reablement and Independence Service (RIS) β a vital part of Slough Borough Council\βs mission to deliver truly integrated, person-centred care. You\βll lead a dedicated team delivering short-term, outcome-focused support that helps people regain independence and live well at home.
Working closely with the OT Service Manager and Head of Short Term Services, you\βll drive a seamless \βone service\β approach β ensuring smooth hospital discharges, proportionate care planning, and cost-effective interventions that reduce long-term dependency. You\βll also represent RIS within the Integrated Care System (ICS) and across council-wide forums, championing collaboration and aligning our services with Slough\βs strategic vision for excellence in care.

26 days annual leave (not including Bank holidays), rising to 30 days between 2 β 5 years\β service and 33 days after 5 years\β service.
