We are looking for 4 proactive Asset Support Officers to join Slough Borough Council’s Strategic Asset Management Team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Asset Officers and Senior Management Team to deliver the Estates Disposals Programme. You’ll proactively undertake and support the disposals casework and projects to help maximise the potential of capital receipts from Council owned land and property assets in line with corporate priorities. You’ll support the Strategic Asset Management Team and Heads of Service, through the provision of information and advice in relation to estate management and to support the Council’s self-sufficiency agenda through liaison and negotiation with existing occupiers, potential tenants/customers, and agents to maximise commercial income from the corporate estate.
Responsibilities
- Support the disposal casework and projects to maximise capital receipts from Council owned land and property assets in line with corporate priorities.
- Provide information and advice relating to estate management to support the Strategic Asset Management Team and Heads of Service.
- Liaise and negotiate with existing occupiers, potential tenants/customers, and agents to maximise commercial income from the corporate estate.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Directorate: Regeneration, Housing and Environment.
- Pay Level: 4 £27,920 – £29,694 (fully inclusive of Local Weighting Allowance).
- Contract Type: Permanent.
- Working Hours: 37 hours per week.
- Location: Observatory House / Slough Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office).
- DBS requirement: Basic.
- Number of hires: 4.
