As a Solutions Consultant at Profound, you will sit at the intersection of sales, product, and customer success, helping enterprise prospects and customers understand the value of Profound’s platform and how it can be tailored to their needs. You will own the technical and strategic side of the pre‑sales process, translating customer goals into scalable solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Sales team to support discovery calls, demos, and RFPs, articulating Profound’s technical capabilities and strategic value to enterprise prospects.
  • Lead custom solution design by mapping customer use cases to platform features, integrations, and data models to ensure a seamless fit.
  • Deliver high‑impact product demonstrations that clearly show how Profound helps brands improve visibility across AI‑driven platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope custom implementations, integrations, and data requirements for strategic accounts.
  • Develop and refine proof‑of‑concept engagements to demonstrate ROI and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution playbooks, and demo environments to support repeatability and scale.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams, connecting technical depth with marketing and AI strategy.
  • Gather market and customer feedback to help inform product roadmap priorities and go‑to‑market enablement.

Who you are:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a solutions consulting, sales engineering, or pre‑sales role within B2B SaaS, preferably in marketing technology, data analytics, or AI.
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort discussing APIs, integrations, data models, and workflows with both business and technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Deep curiosity about AI, search, and how brands show up in generative experiences.
  • Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams.
  • Analytical mindset with skill in identifying customer needs and translating them into measurable business value.
  • Experience with AI tools, SEO or search platforms, or data visualization systems.

Location: This is an on‑site role based in our NYC or London office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact. For this role, the expected base salary range is $120,000 to $200,000 before commission (NYC). Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, commission, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
