Corporate Risk Advisory | US Clients | London

Our client is seeking commercially minded consultants to advise multinational corporations, investors and financial institutions on complex political, regulatory, economic and commercial developments affecting clients doing business in the US.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing consulting firm delivering executive-level qualitative analysis and strategic advice to senior decision-makers, helping clients understand how developments across the US policy, regulatory and business landscape may impact their operations, investments and long-term strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advisory engagements for multinational corporations, investors and private equity firms.
  • Analyse political, regulatory, economic, industry and commercial developments across the United States, translating complex issues into practical recommendations for clients.
  • Produce high-quality reports, executive briefings and presentations for senior decision-makers.
  • Conduct detailed research using open-source information and direct engagement with relevant stakeholders.
  • Advise clients on US policy developments, trade, regulation, market dynamics and emerging risks affecting key sectors.
  • Engage confidently with senior corporate stakeholders and external experts.
  • Manage multiple advisory engagements simultaneously, ensuring first-class quality and delivery.

Experience

We are interested in speaking with professionals who have 4–8+ years of advisory experience and demonstrate the following:

  • Experience advising corporations, investors, private equity firms, government organisations or public sector institutions.
  • Deep expertise in the US political, regulatory, economic and business environment.
  • Previous professional or academic experience in the United States would be advantageous.
  • Experience within, or advising, US government institutions, regulators, policy organisations, think tanks or leading advisory firms would be highly regarded.
  • Established understanding of the factors shaping US policy, regulation, trade and investment.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, research and report-writing skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex issues clearly to senior non-specialist audiences.

*Must have at least four years of full-time advisory experience in a commercial environment post-graduating. This is not a financial risk / analysis role.
