  • Work closely with leadership and have direct exposure to clients throughout the lifecycle of a case.
  • Potentially undertake fieldwork internationally.
  • Develop an understanding of the legal strategy behind the matter so that investigative work advances the client's case

Profile:

  • Strong track record in complex investigations.
  • Experience handling cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters, ideally involving litigation, arbitration, asset tracing, fraud, corruption or other contentious situations.
  • Strong investigative judgement, with the ability to develop lines of enquiry, assess evidence and determine how an investigation should progress.
  • Comfortable working closely with lawyers and understanding how investigative findings support wider legal and disputes strategy.
  • Experience may have been gained within a specialist investigations or intelligence firm, disputes consultancy, law firm, forensic practice, government or another relevant investigative environment.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities across public records, corporate information, litigation records, open-source intelligence and human-source enquiries.
  • Experience identifying, approaching and interviewing sources, witnesses or other relevant individuals would be valuable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly to lawyers, senior clients and other stakeholders.
  • International experience and additional languages would be advantageous, particularly where these support investigative work across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Legal training or previous experience within a legal environment would be useful but is not essential.
  • Comfortable operating internationally and undertaking fieldwork where required.
