We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to assist in the smooth running of our Restaurant and Bar operations. The role requires a strong leader with experience in luxury hospitality, ensuring exceptional service standards, team coordination, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily service, managing the team, and delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Supervise the day-to-day restaurant and bar operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience. Act as the senior point of contact on the floor in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams. Oversee and assist with room service operations and minibar replenishment where required.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the restaurant and bar team to deliver exceptional service. Conduct pre-shift briefings, ensuring all staff are aware of daily objectives, VIP guests, and menu specials. Assist with training and mentoring staff, upholding luxury service standards. Support the Restaurant Manager in scheduling and managing rotas to ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Guest Experience: Engage with guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, resolving any issues efficiently. Monitor online reviews and in-person feedback, providing proactive solutions to improve service.
  • Financial Control & Upselling: Encourage the team to maximize revenue through upselling premium food and beverage options. Support the Restaurant Manager with daily sales tracking and end-of-shift financial reporting. Assist with stock control and inventory, ensuring wastage is minimized.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure all restaurant and bar operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Oversee allergen management procedures and ensure team compliance with food safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness, service quality, and safety.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth service, particularly during busy periods. Liaise with the Front Office team to coordinate guest requests, room service, and VIP arrangements. Ensure clear communication between all F&B departments to guarantee seamless operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, and event operations.
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for luxury hospitality. Knowledge of fine dining service, wine pairings, and cocktail preparation. Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Micros Symphony) and inventory management software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability: Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
