About The Role: Sloan has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer III in our Andover, MA facility that will report to our Manufacturing Engineer Manager. In this role you will develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company’s electronic product lines. Read more to see if this amazing opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
  • Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
  • Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipment.
  • Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
  • Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Assist in the design of products to develop 'Design for Manufacturing' parts and processes.
  • Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering technology.
  • 8+ Years industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, methods, and assembly processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors.
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
