Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nurses, senior carers and carers to provide staff support, including demonstrations and instruction of care activities.
  • Enhance and promote the resident\'s quality of life through effective care planning.
  • Manage and participate in the rota to ensure that senior care and care support are always available and that your unit is covered appropriately.
  • Support the Deputy Manager and Clinical Managers in managing the medication systems and ordering and distributing prescribed medication to residents.

About You / Qualifications

  • Active NMC PIN.
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least two years\' experience of working within a care home environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • This role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
