F&B Shift Leader β The role
- Support the Amadeus management team in the delivery of a range of catering events and functions
- Taking responsibility of managing up to 20 direct zero-hour reports, including development, employment relation issues and specifically managing absenteeism
- Ensures staff are trained in all aspects of role β ability to recognise training requirements and offer \βhands on\β approach when required.
- To implement, monitor and oversee delivery of all standards, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- To communicate effectively with clients and all team members through various methods such as regular briefings/meetings & individual discussions.
- Advanced planning, organising & preparing of event mandatory paperwork.
- To provide effective complaint handling in accordance with standards by investigating complaints, liaising with customers and staff to determining necessary action
- To demonstrate high leadership skills thereby providing the basis for high group moral and staff motivation
- To allocate duties and responsibilities to all team members
- To ensure that all products and services are carefully noted and delivered to the customer\βs satisfaction.
- Control of the temporary labour budget.
- Manages and effectively plans resources for events to the required departmental SOP Manuals, as allocated by the Food & Beverage Manager
What we\βre looking for
- CIEH Intermediate Hygiene Certificate and IOSHH qualified preferred
- Computer Literate to be competent in Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to work under pressure with excellent customer service skills and an eye for \βattention to detail\β.
- Ideally hold a personal liquor license
- Numerate & literate with good verbal & written communication skills
- To have a sound knowledge of a busy corporate hospitality environment.
