We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, product quality, and customer satisfaction. As a Bar Manager, you will oversee a team of bar staff, maintain stock levels, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. A Personal License is preferred but not essential for this role.
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor and improve service quality, creating a pleasant customer experience.
- Manage bar setup, service, and closing procedures during events.
Staff Management:
- Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure adequate staff coverage for all shifts and events.
- Address performance issues and maintain a positive team environment.
Drink Quality & Safety:
- Ensure all drinks meet high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure proper drink handling and storage.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws.
Customer Service:
- Ensure customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Foster an inviting atmosphere that promotes customer retention.
Inventory & Stock Maintenance:
- Maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of beverages and supplies.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to alcohol licensing laws, including age verification and responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness, food and drink preparation standards, and workplace safety.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, customer-facing setting that requires weekend, holiday, and late-hour availability.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and managing equipment.
- Proven experience in bar management or hospitality operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of alcohol licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Personal License Holder (Preferred).
