South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistant (Catering) to join their team at the Hamilton Town House. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting our food and beverage operations across the venue, including weddings, functions, meetings and theatre bar service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
- Provide a comprehensive catering service for weddings, private functions and corporate meetings.
- Operate and assist with running our theatre bars.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene, health and a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is essential.
- Valid REHIS qualification required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Foreign police check required if you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more consecutively in the last 10 years.
