Are you highly organised with a passion for strategy games? Slitherine is looking for two Assistant Producers to join our team. In this role, you’ll help manage the development of exciting games created by our partners around the world. No previous games industry experience is required, but strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and a love of games are essential. You must already have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Learn how great games are made – from concept to release.
- Support the delivery of games being developed by our partners.
- Help track project timelines, milestones, and tasks.
- Communicate regularly with game developers to gather updates and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, finance, localisation) to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Assist with reviewing game builds and identifying gameplay issues or bugs.
- Run the beta testing process, from backend setup to triaging user feedback.
- Keep project records and documents organised and up to date.
- And anything else it takes to help get a game finished!
Qualifications and Skills
- Passion for strategy, simulation, or historical games.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, reliable, and able to juggle different tasks.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace tools, task trackers, and tools like Trello or Notion.
- Curious to learn about how games are produced and eager to grow in the role.
- The ability to see projects through to completion.
- Looking for a first step into the games industry.
- Someone confident in coordinating people and projects — or keen to learn how.
- A strong team player who enjoys working with different teams and partners.
- Enthusiastic, organised, and detail-oriented.
- You don’t need to have made a game — just be excited by how games come together and keen to learn.
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
Additional Details
- Salary: £25K p/a
- 37.5 hours per week
- Hybrid working from our UK office in Epsom, Surrey
- Minimum 2 days per week in the office, likely more initially
