DISPATCHER

STOP BY OUR BOOTH AT THE HOME AND GARDEN SHOWCASE AT THE FAIRGROUNDS IN KALISPELL MARCH 1 & MARCH 2

This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to optimize load-building activities, routes, and schedules.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule trucks and drivers ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate load-building and delivery capacities regularly to sales team and management.
• Monitor fleet operations using GPS technology to track vehicle locations and performance.
• Manage delivery and receiving processes, including documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including data entry into relevant systems such as Epicor Eagle and DDMS.
• Analyze transportation data and workflow to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes that may arise.
• Communicate with sales any challenges or issues with schedule, job site conditions, delivery instructions or other elements that may be relevant to sales team members.
• Assist in transportation planning to optimize fleet utilization and reduce operational costs.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of transportation management principles and practices.
• Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with drivers, sales, management and other team members effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation for the role is based on experience and will include performance-based bonus on top of your base compensation, 401k with match, paid time off, health insurance and many more benefits.
