We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence across the Middle East region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local markets, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets across the Middle East (GCC, Levant, North Africa depending on scope).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, government entities, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
- Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events in the region.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with internal policies and financial goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, finance, and legal.
- Monitor and report on performance against KPIs, including pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and cultural practices in business dealings.
Qualifications
- Minimum [5+] years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the Middle East.
- Strong network of contacts and market knowledge in at least one key Middle Eastern market (e.g., UAE, KSA, Qatar).
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the region.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial mindset.
