An exciting role has become available for a Production Manager. Slingsby Advance Composites is a growing business, with excellent opportunities and development for a successful candidate.

This role is accountable for the safe and on-time delivery of customer orders within the associated budgeted hours, and to the required quality standards for Advanced Composites. Responsible for managing staff and their production cell/s ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures at all times, and in line with Health and Safety requirements.

To support and mentor Team Leaders with any people related topics, this includes PDRs and conducting disciplinary matters as required. Accountable for efficient use of overhead diversions ensuring that all costs are controlled, reported and managed.

To continually review processes to improve production flow using lean techniques. Participate in sales contract reviews ensuring customer requirements are adhered to, liaising with internal departments and on occasions customers as required.

Ensure sensitive data is suitably protected within the manufacturing areas ensuring it meets UK Government and ITAR and contract compliance security requirements.
