Role Description
The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kirkbymoorside. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering composite projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include managing project schedules, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers, overseeing expediting activities, and aligning logistics to meet customer and production needs. The Project Manager will monitor progress, manage risks and issues, support inspection and quality milestones, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. This role also involves preparing project documentation, reporting on performance, and driving continuous improvement in project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong project delivery skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience with Expeditor responsibilities and Expediting processes to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and components.
- Knowledge of Inspection practices and quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate materials flow, shipping, and inventory in support of project timelines.
- Relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced composites manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field preferred.
