Our Consultant product group takes responsibility for owning the vision and driving forward the continuous development of exceptional Consultant-facing digital products, ensuring they are innovative, inspiring, on-brand, accessible, intelligent and technologically robust.
This suite of digital products is just one of the ways that we provide an exceptional service to Consultants to support them to build a highly successful Slimming World business, delivering the very best quality service to their members and supporting every member to achieve their weight loss dream. The product team works closely with colleagues across our business to ensure this vision becomes a reality.
About the role: We’ve an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic, full-time Product Owner to join our Support Services team based at our Head Office in Alfreton, working in the office 4 days a week, with the option to opt into the 9-day fortnight. We’re embarking on a bold technology transformation that goes far beyond modernising the tools our Consultants use. Within our Consultant product group, you’ll help reimagine the Consultant role itself — redefining how we work, collaborate and deliver value to our members.
As a Product Owner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the product vision and driving meaningful change. You’ll work within a close‑knit product team to ensure the solutions we build truly empower our Consultants to deliver the best possible experience for members to help them achieve their weight loss dreams. Working closely with colleagues across the Consultant product group and technology teams, you’ll help turn vision into reality — ensuring developments are well understood, well informed and built on solid technological foundations.
You’ll own the vision for new developments, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs and translate them into clear, prioritised and deliverable pieces of work. Acting as the voice of the customer, you’ll ensure developments are informed by Consultant insight, data and a deep understanding of our business.
About you: Are you confident and decisive, bringing logic, intuition and sound judgement to decision‑making? Do you thrive on collaboration, building strong relationships, and communicating clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences? We’d love to hear from you if you have experience working with digital products (including Salesforce) and/or a strong understanding of Slimming World and the Consultant role, and you:
- are passionate about continuous improvement and creative problem solving
- have experience translating a vision into tangible, valuable work
- can identify and represent user and business needs throughout delivery of projects, acting as a key liaison point
- effectively prioritise work to deliver improvements in a fast‑paced, pragmatic way
- enjoy working as part of a team and bringing others on board around a shared goal
- have experience leading productive teams and confidently facilitating meetings or workshops
