We’ve an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team full time. We are currently looking for a friendly, reliable, customer focused Customer Services Advisor to join our Customer Services team based at our Head Office in Alfreton. The Partnerships section of this team plays a vital role in screening and registering people who are offered a Slimming World membership by the NHS or other schemes. Potential new members are given up to date information about Slimming World’s unique services, their local groups and our Food Optimising plan.
The key responsibilities for the role include:
- Ensuring a warm, friendly and empathetic welcome to Slimming World, putting the caller at ease, ensuring that any concerns are discussed so the caller is set up for the best start to their weight loss journey.
- Triage callers to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for each referral scheme as agreed on the individual scheme criteria.
- Accurately update customer information on Slimming World’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to ensure information is correct.

- Have experience working with and are skilled at using computers including information management systems and Microsoft Office packages.
Having previous experience in telephone support or a customer service role is desirable but not essential. Although the hours for the role are fixed, there may be times where we ask for flexibility to work across our core opening hours between 9am-6pm. Flexibility will also be required around annual leave and bank holidays.
