As a Night Porter, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests during the late hours. You’ll deliver warm welcomes, smooth departures, and everything in between with professionalism and a genuine smile.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for:

  • The security of guests and the premises of the hotel.
  • Serving and assisting guests for the duration of the night.
  • Providing the highest standards of service to guests, ensuring all guests' needs and expectations are met.
  • Ensuring you are aware of all hotel services and are proactive in the sale of these to guests.
  • Ensuring you handle, store and deliver guest luggage to the appropriate destination.
  • Ensuring the guest areas are maintained, cleaned and hoovered and left in a tidy manner.
  • Receiving payments for food and beverages.
  • Dealing with room services throughout the shift.
  • Ensuring all equipment and materials are used in a correct manner and reporting any issues immediately.
  • Maintaining security of stock areas at all times.
  • Dealing with guest concerns courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Manager on duty.
  • Preparing set up for restaurant and conference and banqueting as required.
