As a Night Porter, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests during the late hours. You’ll deliver warm welcomes, smooth departures, and everything in between with professionalism and a genuine smile.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for:
- The security of guests and the premises of the hotel.
- Serving and assisting guests for the duration of the night.
- Providing the highest standards of service to guests, ensuring all guests' needs and expectations are met.
- Ensuring you are aware of all hotel services and are proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- Ensuring you handle, store and deliver guest luggage to the appropriate destination.
- Ensuring the guest areas are maintained, cleaned and hoovered and left in a tidy manner.
- Receiving payments for food and beverages.
- Dealing with room services throughout the shift.
- Ensuring all equipment and materials are used in a correct manner and reporting any issues immediately.
- Maintaining security of stock areas at all times.
- Dealing with guest concerns courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Manager on duty.
- Preparing set up for restaurant and conference and banqueting as required.
