What We're Looking For
We are looking for a team player who has a forward thinking mindset ready to support the NPD functions growth of the Slick Gorilla brand. Working remotely within the UK, this individual will focus on supporting ideas, concepts and visions through from inception to product launch across personal care categories, lifestyle, gifting and much more.
What You'd Be Doing In This Role
- Review market environment suggesting trends and NPD opportunities
- Research trends, developments and innovations within hair & beauty industry
- Develop & present ideas for hair styling, care and further focused NPD
- Organise & carry out tasks to support the NPD and operational functions
- Support the planning, action & management process of all NPD
- Carry out and ensure consistent communication with suppliers, manufacturers and stakeholders
- Ensure positive working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and stakeholders
- Contributed concepts & ideas for lifestyle, GWP & seasonal NPD
- Support critical paths & roadmaps for all future NPD
- Plan & prepare NPD from a calendar perspective in line with stakeholders
Skills And Qualifications Needed To Get The Job Done
- A positive proactive forward thinking mindset
- A strong experience in product development
- A successful portfolio of previous supported NPD projects
- Strong understanding & awareness of hair & beauty industry developments, trends and successes
- Strong ability to manage projects, including timeline tracking, stakeholder engagement and problem solving
- Strong organisational ability to plan, structure, multi task and control NPD tasks
- Exceeds at relationship development and teamwork
