We’re seeking a Product Design Manager to lead design across our Enterprise segment. This position is based in the UK and requires local presence in Manchester, London, or Dublin, with a minimum of two days per week in the office for Anchor Days.

What Your Team Does

As part of Clio’s Enterprise division, you’ll sit at the heart of our growth story. Clio Operate and Vincent together form a category-defining product suite that is enabling untethered growth for legal clients worldwide. Operate grew revenue by ~100% in 2025, and Vincent is accelerating fast. This player‑coach role involves leading a talented team of product designers based in London, working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver intelligent, human‑centered experiences that meet the sophisticated needs of enterprise legal professionals, while also rolling up your sleeves to contribute directly to design work.

What You’ll Work On

  • Define and drive the experience strategy for Vincent, ensuring design decisions reflect the complex workflows and high standards of enterprise legal users.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of curiosity, autonomy, collaboration, and continuous growth.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to shape the product roadmap and deliver cohesive, high‑quality experiences.
  • Champion user‑centered design by embedding research and data‑informed practices into the product development process.
  • Communicate design rationale, insights, and trade‑offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Leverage AI capabilities thoughtfully to create intelligent, adaptive experiences that serve enterprise legal professionals.
  • Hire and develop exceptional design talent through feedback, coaching, and performance development.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet delivery goals and drive long‑term strategic impact.

What You May Have

  • 7+ years of product design experience, including SaaS or complex platform environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing product design teams.
  • A proven track record of shipping high‑quality, user‑centered products at scale.
  • Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, and systems thinking.
  • Experience designing for enterprise users with complex, high‑stakes workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect design strategy to business and customer outcomes.
  • A coaching mindset, able to build trust, grow talent, and lead through ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • A growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.
  • Experience designing AI‑driven or data‑intensive products (bonus).
  • Familiarity with legal, enterprise, or regulated industry products (bonus).
  • Experience contributing to or evolving platform‑level design systems in multi‑product environments (bonus).

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected salary range for this role is £97,600 to £122,000 to £146,400 GBP. Separate salary bands apply for other regions based on local currency. The final offer will depend on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset.
