Part Time Practice Accountant Join a thriving accountancy practice in Worksop Are you an accountant looking for your next step with a firm that genuinely values its people and its clients? We're looking for someone who loves building relationships as much as they love getting the numbers right. You could be qualified, studying, part qualified or qualified by experience. Location: Worksop (office based) | Hours: 20-25 hours a week | Contract: Part-time, permanent | Reports to: Practice Owner | Salary: £45,000 Pro Rata What You'll Be Doing * Managing and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across the industrial, transport and farming sectors * Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returns * Giving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax matters * Preparing statutory and management accounts to a high standard * Building strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetings * Getting hands-on with TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Word and Excel * Liaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clients * Staying sharp on the latest tax legislation, accounting standards, and best practice * Working as part of a team — no formal line management required What We're Looking For * Solid practice experience * Confident managing your own client portfolio from start to finish * Strong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax * A natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contact * Comfortable working across modern accounting software * A team player who's happy to share knowledge and support colleagues What's In It For You * Competitive salary, reflective of your experience * Employer pension scheme * Study support available * A supportive, close-knit practice where your contribution is genuinely valued * Real autonomy over your own client portfolio Equals One is an advertising and recruitment agency working on behalf of our client to promote this vacancy.
