Location: Worksop (office based) | Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, 5 days | Contract: Full-time, permanent | Reports to: Practice Owner | Salary: £45,000
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across the industrial, transport and farming sectors
- Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returns
- Giving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax matters
- Preparing statutory and management accounts to a high standard
- Building strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetings
- Getting hands-on with TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Word and Excel
- Liaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clients
- Staying sharp on the latest tax legislation, accounting standards and best practice
- Working as part of a team; no formal line management required
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent) with solid practice experience
- Confident managing your own client portfolio from start to finish
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax
