A bit about what you will do...

  • Supporting the sales team within your cluster of hotels, sales research, management of clients via telephone, video calling, or email exchange and general administration duties as required.
  • Managing an assigned business segment for the cluster.
  • Work towards and meet agreed sales objectives and targets.
  • Working towards all appropriate and relevant hotel revenue stream targets albeit with various pre-agreed contribution targets.
  • Working towards delivering sales strategies and activities as agreed in the budget and sales plan and as directed by Line Manager.
  • Develop account animation plans for accounts within the portfolio assigned to you to ensure maximum share from each account.
  • Research potential new accounts, conduct telesales calls, carry out face-to-face appointments if necessary and demonstrate non-face-to-face sales activity in line with agreed targets.
  • Create and manage effective relationships with any brand partner sale/key account teams, Arora central teams and other Arora hotel or hotel cluster sales teams.
  • Become conversant with appropriate brand standards and brand tools relating to sales activity.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure new sales opportunities are maximised, encourage repeat business and generally promote the wider Arora collection of hotels.
  • Execute and communicate to customers and the market, Arora Group and relevant Brand marketing initiatives and promotions.
  • Use public relations, marketing and social media resources and tools to improve sales effectiveness.

More about you...

  • Ideally at least one year’s experience in a customer facing hotel or hospitality department or in any other industry where the role has had some sales support function.
  • Team player with positive interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Willing to adapt and change styles as and when necessary.
  • Develops constructive relationships both within Arora Hotels and external clients and suppliers.
  • Demonstrates an appetite for commercial awareness.
  • Computer literate.
  • Fantastic negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Basic Account Management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
  • Have the desire and ability to improve your knowledge and abilities through ongoing training and development.
