SLH Consult are partnering our client, a national civil engineering business, who are looking to appoint a seasoned 360 operator with experience of lifting for a two month + freelance opportunity within Perth, Scotland.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting a skilled and versatile 360 Excavator Operator for an upcoming civil engineering development in Perth. This is not just a "cab-only" role. Our client is looking for a team player who is focused on precision lifting operations, but who is also happy to step out of the cab and muck in with the ground crew to help keep the project moving forward safely during quieter periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate tracked 360 excavators ranging from 13T to 20T+.
  • Execute precision heavy lifting, slinging, and crane-style operations.
  • Assist with deep drainage, foundations, concrete works, and general civils.
  • Get out of the cab to assist ground workers and the site team whenever required.
  • Maintain strict compliance with site health and safety standards.

What We Need From You

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Blue card preferred).
  • Lifting Operations endorsement advantageous but not essential if relevant lifting experience is demonstrated.
  • Proven, hands-on experience in deep drainage, civils, and general groundwork.
  • Full PPE (High-viz, hard hat, steel-toe boots).
  • A collaborative, proactive attitude.
